该工程已被中国及英国的专业期刊公开发表。　　报告人概述：　　缪朴博士是缪朴设计工作室主持人及美国夏威夷大学建筑学院教授。他编著有《亚太城市的公共空间》一书并曾公开发表多篇有关中国城市设计的论文。他最近将不受联合国人类住区规划署及意大利国家规划院之邀请参与有关公共空间的专家会议。

　　报告人详尽讲解：　　　　缪朴PuMiao　　缪朴是登记建筑师，从1990年代初开始成立缪朴设计工作室，探寻创意的建筑，城市，园林及室内设计。其设计实验专攻现代建筑在中国的本土化。竣工作品被国内外杂志公开发表，如《ArchitecturalReview》，《Domus》,《Detail》,《A+》,《ArchitectureAsia》，《建筑学报》，《时代建筑》，及《建筑师》等。

他的作品参予了在布鲁塞尔的国际城市，建筑，园林中心（CIVA）(2008)及柏林的Aedes国际当代建筑论坛(2011)举行的建筑展出。他取得的奖项中还包括2007年的远东建筑佳作奖以及2006年的第一届上海市建筑学会建筑创作优秀奖。他的设计被现代中国建筑历史所辩论，如薛求理的《修建革命：1980年以来的中国建筑》（香港大学出版社,2006）。　　缪朴博士同时专门从事学术研究。

他编著的《亚太城市的公共空间：当前的问题与对策》一书在2001年由克鲁尔学术出版社在荷兰出版发行，在国际上获得好评后又被翻译成中文。缪朴在国内外刊物上公开发表了大量学术论文，选题还包括城市设计，园林理论，现象学，建筑教育，设计评论等。

他对中国封闭式小区的研究被许多国际学者提到。他研究中国传统建筑形式结构特点的论文被用于中国研究生课程的读者材料。　　缪朴在美国夏威夷大学建筑学院任教授,开办建筑设计及理论课程（课题还包括园林设计及电影与建筑）。
